About Us

Aim & Motto

Education is not only a fundamental right with intrinsic value for human development and quality of life but it is also a critical enabling right– helping children to develop the skills which enable them to cope with life’s challenges.

The importance of the early years in the formation of intelligence, personality, social behavior and physical development is acknowledged. It is during the earliest years that our basic sense of ourselves and our relationship to the world is established. Access to education is still very limited in India, even in urban areas. Parents from marginalized group are still not concerned about the education of their children as they are mostly daily labourers .One of the major concerns of Mother Theresa Charitable Trust is upliftment of the underprivileged. Our initiatives aim at imparting basic education to slum children. It has been taken an initiative and started a school in Dharavi (Asia's Largest Slum) by entitling Mother Theresa kids school and has been conducting various educational activities in collaboration with community approaches.
